How do you throw a bait casting reel to keep from bird nesting?
Answer: The reel has 2 separate drag adjustments. One for the usual adjustment when the fish pulls too hard and the other to control the line going out and prevent backlash. The second drag is called the free wheel adjustment and how to adjust it should be in the .pdf file below.

Question: whats better open face reel or bait casters?
I use open face reel i know how to use but just want to know if bait casters are better and why they are better and how to use them
Answer: In bass fishing, spinning reels and baitcasting reels all have their needs. Spinning reels are used for finesse tactics (wacky wormin', drop shottin', finesse type Texas rigs, etc.) while baitcasting reels are used for power fishing (Texas rigs, jig fishing, "pitchin' ~n~ flippin'", etc.) It's always good to have an assortment of baitcasting reels and spinning reels on the boat at all times. But if this is in regards to Largemouth bass fishing, the baitcasting reel gets the most use versus the spinning reel.
