Question: Is a hot mustard bath as bad as it sounds?
I was looking at bath stuff at Bath&Body Works, and saw C.O. Bigelow hot mustard bath. It sounds like it would smell really bad! Does it?
Also, are hot mustard baths good?
Answer: I LOVE C.O Bigelow products, they always smell delicious and pleasant! Not quite sure about the mustard bath... doesn't sound very... well... pleasant.

The Various Methods of Making Honey Mustard Receipe
Mustard has become an important ingredient in our daily cooking. Mustard is commonly used as condiment on meat. It is also an ingredient of barbecue sauce. Mustard is also served with Bratwurst and hot dogs
Honey mustard receipe can be made using various methods. .Honey mustard sauce is sweet and delicious. For preparing honey mustard sauce that is fat free you should have 8 parts of fat free mayonnaise. You should also have 1 part honey, 2 parts of Heinz mustard and 1 part sugar. After mixing honey, sugar and mustard together add mayonnaise. Blend and then serve it. Honey mustard sauce is used for salad dressing, for dipping fried seafood.
Honey mustard BBQ SAUCE can be prepared in the following way
You should have the following ingredients:
1 jumbo packet of chicken parts, 6 tablespoon of salted butter, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 i.e. 8oz jar of spicy brown mustard, ½ c. of apple cider vinegar, 1/3 c of honey, ½ tablespoon of Tabasco sauce. First sprinkle chicken with salt. In the saucepan cook garlic and butter for 5 mins. Cook them over low heat and stir frequently. Stir in honey, vinegar, mustard and Tabasco sauce. Cook the mixture over low heat for 10 to 15 mins
There is one more simple method of making honey mustard sauce. The ingredients include ½ c of honey and ½ c. of Dijon mustard. Blend all these ingredients together in a bowl with whisk. Put this mixture in refrigerator for minimum 1 hour.
Honey mustard dipping sauce can be prepared in the following way
The ingredients are1/2 c of honey. ½ c of Dijon mustard and 1 table spoon of cider vinegar. Over low heat bring the mixture to a boil. Cook for 1 minute and stir it constantly. The mixture is about 1 minute. The sauce contains only 1 gram of fat and has no cholesterol.
Another method of preparing honey mustard sauce is taking 1c of whip salad dressing, 4 tablespoon of mustard and 2-table spoon of honey. Mix together until the mixture becomes smooth. This sauce is used in basting meat on grill.
There is one more dish in which honey mustard sauce is the main ingredient. The dish is Roast chicken with curried honey mustard sauce. To prepare this dish take 2 whole broiler chicken breasts, 1 onion chopped, 1/3c of honey, 1 tablespoon of curry powder, 1/3 c of spicy mustard and 2 minced garlic gloves. In a small bowl prepare sauce by mixing mustard, honey, garlic and curry. Place the chicken with its skin side up in a shallow baking pan Pour the sauce over the chicken and bake it at around 350 degrees. Bake it around 1 hour.
There is one easy way for preparing honey mustard sauce. It is wonderful on salads.
The ingredients are ½ cup of Kraft mayonnaise, ¼ cup of honey and ¼ cup of mustard, 1 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar and 1 dash salt of cayenne pepper. Whisk all the ingredients together and chill.

What do you think about this? Is today more depressing than other days? What do you do to pick yourself up when you're depressed?
Answer: I think it's because it is after the holidays, it's a Monday and the weather isn't exactly the best...there's not a lot to look forward to for a few weeks at least. I felt a little out of sorts yesterday so I went for a walk past a big sledding hill and just watched and listened to the kids, teens, families screaming and laughing. There is nothing better than that..and who knows?? maybe go grab a sled yourself. It made me laugh and smile the rest of my walk. Go watch kids having fun and listen to them laugh..its the best medicine in my opinion.

Question: Does Scott's Emulsion contain mercury and other contaminants?
I would like to know if Scott's Emulsion contain contaminants such as mercury. Some fish oil companies claim that their products are free of such contaminants. I can't find information about Scott's Emulsion about that.
Answer: Fish oil and cod liver oil don't pose the same risk as fresh fish as they are purified of mercury and other contaminants found in fish.

Danger - Mercury in Fish, Safest Fish to Eat
Many know the benefits of consuming more High Quality EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids) and Omega 3's from fish and fish oil. However, one main drawback and danger to consuming omega 3s from fish oil is often not discussed. Unfortunately, due to worldwide water pollution, many formerly good sources of fish oil have become tainted with mercury. Mercury poisoning often causes irreversible brain and negative physical changes, including paralysis, mental impairment, retards physical growth, reduces immune function, and even causes premature death, to cite just a health dangers. Many fresh water fish can no longer be eaten safely due to the fact that the waters they swim in have become polluted from industrialized sources, PCBs, or run-off water containing chemical fertilizers, DDT, and pesticides from property owners.
Health Note: This is why dental cavity fillings with silver/mercury cavity fillings are so dangerous. Do not let your dentist use any mercury in your fillings. Ask for newer non-mercury composite cavity fillings. If you do have existing silver with mercury fillings, removing them is wise and may eliminate or prevent many existing or future health problems. Only let competent dentists remove mercury fillings as special precautions must be exercised so that harmful mercury from the fillings upon removal are not released into your body.
Like many Americans who eat fish from unknown ocean, lakes and streams, people who live in the Great Lakes regions of the U.S. have suffered from nervous and mental disorders as a result of eating Great Lakes caught fish, even if only once or twice a month. The best sources of fish containing the most omega 3's usually come from salt water ocean fish. Generally speaking, the smaller the deep water fish, the higher in omega 3 oils and the safer the fish is to eat. Larger predatory fish, since they tend to swim in more polluted waters and live longer, generally consume more mercury than smaller fish like sardines, anchovies, and herring. However, one of the safest fish sources for its omega 3 content and most nutritious fish to eat is wild (non-farm raised) Alaskan salmon, especially pink Sockeye salmon.
Note: Many farm-raised species of fish, (as opposed to free-range fish caught in open waters) are fed antibiotics, hormones, and less nutritious grain meals to fatten them up rather than feeding off of plankton and smaller fish that are naturally rich in omega 3s.
Among the safest and best sources of omega 3s from fish, approximately in the order of benefit are salmon (free range, wild Alaskan salmon and sockeye salmon, not farmed salmon), sardines, anchovies, small mackerel or mackerel from waters deep in the unpolluted South Pacific, herring, fresh water lake trout, and tuna. Regular and usually less expensive canned chunk light tuna is usually better for you and generally has less mercury than the white Albacore tuna, which may have triple the mercury content.
Health Warning: Children can be particularly affected by eating mercury contaminated fish. Early learning disorders, reduced physical and mental growth, along with compromised intelligence and deficient brain development can follow. Pregnant mothers who eat high mercury fish have higher miscarriage rates or bear children more inclined to suffer from mental and learning disorders, lower intelligence, and mental development problems.

Question: Whats a good deep fry chicken batter?
I tried deep frying my chicken with flour but that didn't work to well it tasted like stove top chicken with no flavour and it was dry.
I always see on t.v. people dipping chicken into a somewhat thick batter and drop the chicken into the deep fryer.
The chicken turns out so nice and gold and crunchy like kfc and popeyes make they use batters like this.How do I make "deep-fry batter."

Question: Help me pretty please..How to cook the best steak ever..?

I will grill it on a grill pan

I have no Idea what the cut is ..but it is like a fillet without any bones..
Answer: Don't worry, it's pretty easy to do and won't take much time at all.
1) Take the meat out of the fridge for at least 20 minutes before putting it in the pan... you want the steak to come to room temp so it cooks evenly.
2) Put the grill pan on the stove and set the burner to medium-high (7 if it's numbered). Let the pan pre-heat for several minutes.
3) While the pan is heating, make a quick dry rub of 2 tsp kosher salt, 1 tsp crushed black pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder and a pinch of smoked paprika. Lightly brush your steak with a little extra-virgin olive oil and then rub the seasoning mix all over your steak.
4) Grill the steak about 4-5 minutes per side for a good medium-rare.
5) Take the steak off the grill pan and let it rest for at least 10 minutes before serving. If you like, place a small piece of butter on top of the steak while waiting... it will melt right into the steak.
Enjoy with a good red wine and some sauteed mushrooms & onions!

Question: What is the best way to cook angus beef boneless sirloin fillets?
I don't have any marinades. Can it still turn out yummy? I am planning on frying them in an electric skillet. These are the ingredients I have:
onions, garlic, olive oil, worchichire sauce, A-1 sauce, lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, italian seasonings, basil, chili powder, cayenne pepper, dill, rosemary, orageno, a few bullion seasonings.. probably others.
I have never cooked this before! What are the best ingredients to use and how? I might have other ingredients too. I would appreciate any suggestions!!
Well I do not have a bbq. I do have bbq sauce though? No bacon either.Answer: After several years working as a steakhouse chef, I've found that keeping it simple is the best method when cooking steaks. Try a nice dry rub instead of a marinade. Combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder and a pinch of rosemary and cayenne. Gently rub the steaks on both sides with some olive oil and then sprinkle them evenly with the spice mix. Rub into the meat and allow to stand while the skillet heats. When cooking steaks, its also important to cook them from closer to room temperature rather than cold as you'll get a closer temperature (med rare - medium is best for this cut).
Once the skillet is HOT, place the steaks in side by side and cook 4min each side (for 12oz steaks) for medium rare.
If you'd like to make a sauce for the steaks, add a splash of Worcestershire and A1 to the hot pan. Deglaze this mix with some beef broth (or red wine) and allow to reduce. (deglazing is a fancy word for adding liquid to a hot pan and scraping the drippings into a sauce) When the liquid is fairly reduced, remove from heat and stir in a few pats of butter. You should end up with a silky and flavorful sauce for the steaks!
