Question: Program an Universal Remote to Control a Digital Converter Box?
My grandparents have a digital converter box that allows them to watch TV, but the remote is too small. Plus they have to deal with two remotes. They have a RCA Universal Remote and I was wondering what code to use to program in to make their Digitial Stream converter box work. Please help...they really need this fixed when I see them over the holidays.
It is a converter box that connects to your antenna to allow you to access digital broadcast since all channels went digital.Answer: Is this one of those small black boxes with only RF in/out and no channel display of its own? If so, the answer is probably not. I tried several different remotes and was unable to program any of them to control a Comcast digital cable adapter. None of the numeric codes work, and neither did my attempt at head-to-head teaching a learning remote.
The remote which came with the cable adapter might be programmable to control their TV, though, depending on the brand and age of the TV. There should be instructions with the cable adapter's remote on how to do this. (In my case, this also failed, leaving me just wishing the old TV to die so I can replace it.)

Question: Will Burnout Paradise be able to use digital control?
I've just tried the PS3 demo of Burnout Paradise, and unfortunately I wasn't able to use the digital pad to control the car...if anyone's got the full version yet, do you know if there's an option to use the digital pad rather than the analog stick to control your car?
Answer: No, they have a different function. If you press the D-pad, it opens up like friends or something right? If it has a function, you won't be able to switch them.
